Here is My Term 4 Goal Setting.

Recount Writing-At Parakai springs.

WALT use the correct structure and  language for Recount Writing.
At Parakai springs.
On Monday morning my Aunty Tracy came to pick me up at 9:00.
She came with Pounamu, Piripi, and Aunty Tracy. First I went to go say bye to mum.
After that we went to the shop to buy a drink. Then we left Kaikohe.
It was lonely without us like a cloud. It took us a long time to get there.
So instead of me and Pounamu being bored, I said “Should we play a car game?’’
Then my aunty said, “Can I play?’’ We both said “Ok.”
I chose red, Aunty Tracy got 20 because she chose blue. A blue car came straight away.
Pounamu won with 156 because she chose PURPLE. Then we arrived at
Parakai springs. Aunty Tracy went straight to the pools to pay so we could go in.
Then we went to the camping area. We were so far from the pools.
When we got out of the van we set up the tent and then we put  on our togs. When we were
walking to the pools my Aunt asked, "Should we bring the volleyball?”.
We all said “OK”. When we got there the first thing we went on was the fast slide.
But when we got up there Piripi ditched me straight away. I opened my eyes
and shouted ahhhhhhhhhh. When I was  going down it was dark and I thought I was going
to stop breathing. But when I made it I thought I was going to drown.
Lastly we went to the spark to get warmed up. We stayed there until 6.00.
Then me and Piripi went to the slides. So Piripi chucked the boards down and then
he went down without a mat. I found a mat and I went down with one. Instead
of Piripi going all the way, he stopped me and other people.
Since it was cold we both hit the spark until 9.00.Then we went back to have dinner.
WHAT A CURIOUS DAY AT PARAKAI SPRINGS.

At the beach.29.8.18
Yippy yi yay! On a lovely Saturday morning I woke up
and my Dad said, “Come on you sleepy heads come
and have breakfast.” He wanted us to hurry up because
we were going at 9.30 to the beach. It was Paihia
beach. First me and my sister Jean went upstairs to
have breakfast. I had porridge that my mum makes.
She makes delicious porridge. It was as yummy as
pancake. Then when I finished my breakfast I went to
get my stuff ready. I got my spare clothes so I could
have a swim. When I was just finished everybody was
finished as well. Me and Taonga went to play outside.
We started to play hide and go seek. Taonga was it.
He couldn't find me. It was  so hard. Then my big
sisters came out and asked, “What are you playing?”
We both shouted, “Hide and go seek!” We had a dog.
He was playing with us too. He was hiding with me so
I said, “Don’t bark or Taonga will find us.” So my dog
did not do anything. He just sat there. Later on they
all found me. Shortly after Taonga found me, we were
ready to go. “Yay! Finally we’re going!” we shouted.

It was a long way to get to the beach. When we got
there, I asked my mum and dad, “Can we go to
Waitangi please?” My mum said, “Why do you want to
go there?” I said, “Because that's our activity.”                                                                          So they both said, “O.K. let's go then.” When we were finished at Waitangi we went back to the beach. When we got to the beach I saw a lot of people. There were over 80 people. Some were swimming, some were walking along the beach, some were having a picnic, some were building sandcastles and some were just sitting on the sand.

We were excited to be at the beach. We had a lovely
swim and we did lots of beach activities. It was a cool
fun day for me and my family.

                            At the Lindvart Park
On a burning hot Saturday afternoon my family and I went to the
Lindvart Park to play soccer.  My dad said when you score it hast to
roll on the groud. First we played soccer. It was boys vs girls but I
said, “I’m on the boys side. There's too many girls.’’ Then my dad
said, “OK.’’ Then we started. It was our ball. My older brother said,
“See you on the other side of Loserville. The ball was easy to get
off them. Taonga nearly scored but my mum stopped it. She threw
it down by the goal but luckily my dad stopped it. He threw it to
me and I was going to pass it to Taonga but he was blocked then I
was going to pass it to my dad. But then he was blocked so I scored
my self. My dad said,  “Yas we got a goal.’’ I said, “Last goal wins.”

So we carried on. It was one nil. My dad said, “Who ever scores the
last goal wins a 5 litre ice-cream.” My mum said, “We’ll win that 5
litre ice-cream.” My mum threw the ball to my sister Jean. She was
dribbling the ball so it could go under our legs. She tried to goal but
it went up in the Air.My dad said, “No Try.”My dad said, “We won.”
We sat down and had a rest because it was hot as hell.So we went
to get the 5 litre ice-cream.What an fantastic day at the

Recount Writing-Staying at home.

I am learning to use the correct structure and language for Recount Writing.Staying at home.15/03/2018.
On Saturday evening my family and I stayed at home so we can have a spot light and movie night. I felt great and excited.
My nana was looking after my sister and my brother while my mum and dad were gone out for their dinner. I didn’t know where they went. First we had to have dinner. We had pies. They were delicious.
When we were finished our tea. Nana went downstairs to get our Treasure Hunt ready. I felt amazed and I couldn’t wait to start hunting for treasure. When the Treasure Hunt was ready Nan told us to hunt for Lollies. We raced off. There was a competition to see who could get the most lollies.
After a while all of us found all of the lollies. Me and my sister Jean found the most lollies. Jean got the most. She got 12  and I got 10. I just needed 2 more and I would have had 12. I loved the Treasure Hunt. It was so much fun.
Next we had our movie night. We watched Moana again. We had chocolate popcorn. It was yummy as well. It was as yummy as a malted chocolate. I love chocolate more than strawberry. I felt amazed.

Bucketfilling Explanation Writing.

WALT use the correct structure and language for Explanation Writing.
Bucketfilling
Everyone carries an invisible bucket. You can’t see it but it’s there.
You have a bucket and so does every member of your family. In the bucket there
are good thoughts and nice feelings.
How does bucket filling work?
First you can fill other people’s bucket by talking nicely to them so they feel nice.
Next you can use manners so you will show other people that you are a role
model.
You need other people to fill your bucket and other people will fill your bucket.
That’s how bucketfilling works.
So if  the whole world tries to fill each other’s buckets it will be a happy and safe
place.

Being friends Explanation Writing

WALT use the correct Structure and language for Explanation Writing.
Being Friends

Friendship is caring about each other.
Friendship is  welcoming new people to our school.
Friendship is a conection with each other.

Being a good friend means that you don’t bully your friend
because if you do they won’t be your friend.
Being a good friend means if your friend is crying go and awhi
them so they feel better.
Being a good friend means that you can be a role model so you
can show your friend what you are doing.
Friends are amazing to have.

Recount Writing-Watching Moana.

I think i scored rubric 4 because I used my capital letters and full stops and my punctuation correctly. Watching Moana.
Yahoo! On a wet stormy Saturday afternoon my family and I stayed home so my dad could get Moana for us to watch.
When we were waiting for the movie my dad told us to go up stairs to have some lunch. I thought we should have delicious burgers.
They said, “Ok let’s have burgers for lunch then.” It was delicious.
Then we got called back downstairs to watch Moana.
Mum said, “I’ve got some delicious food like chocolate, ice cream, popcorn and chips.”  When my mum called us downstairs my mum gave us our yummy food. So we all cheered. “Yay! Thanks Mum.”
Finally dad played the movie for us and then the movie started. We loved watching Moana. It’s our favourite movie. We choose to watch it every time. I love Moana. It's a very cool movie.
